DIY Confetti Wall

DIY confetti wall before & after Poor & Pretty

Ever since I came across this confetti wall, I’ve been wanting to make my own. It’s a fantastic & easy way to add personality to a wall, especially if you’re renting like me. So, I added a big circle punch to my Yule list, and Stan bought one for me. I had time this past weekend to create it {remember the sneak peak from Monday?}, and I’m so happy with how it came out! Today, I’m excited to share with you the super simple three step DIY process. First, let’s talk supplies.

You’ll need:

  • a big, circular punch. Mine is a 2¼” by EK Success Tools.
  • fun, colorful paper.
  • removable adhesive putty.

You can find all of these things at your local craft store.

Step 1: Punch circles out of your paper.

Step 2: Place a small amount of removable adhesive putty to the back of each circle. The amount will depend on the size of your circles, but you really don’t need much.

Step 3: Stick those circles to your wall! This is the fun part! I also cut a few and placed them in corners and at the bases and tops of my walls {step stool needed!}.

It probably only took me around an hour from start to finish. The longest part, of course, is placing the dots on your wall ~ deciding where they’ll go, making sure two of the same color aren’t too close, etc. But as you can see, it’s very easy and totally worth it. I can’t help but smile and be positive every time I pass by the wall. It also make a great photo backdrop! :)

we need to get a couple of giant hole punches to do Scarlett’s wall in the new house! I wonder if they make giant hole punches for the public to buy hmmmmm…..

  • I believe Stan bought mine on Amazon. You can certainly use the one I have, but if you want bigger, I’d suggest checking online :) I still have some of the glittery paper left, too!
