Guest Post: Danielle Loves Colors

 - by Guest
Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Danielle, and I am Stan’s sister. A while back, I heard about this website. We Love Colors sells hosiery items, such as knee-highs, tights, leggings (footless tights), fishnets, and even dancewear. Did I mention that these come in 51 different colors ranging from mocha to orchid pink?
WLC is very inexpensive (with the knee highs being only $3.50!) They also have Caroline Geys custom tights. Caroline Geys is an abstract architectural artist & contemporary painter who designed these cute tights in four different styles: abstract, metro, dwell, and organic. “The fluidity, beauty and grace evident throughout nature”, she states. Her designs are definitely influenced by nature and shape. These four designs feature small glitter accents as well as bold colors.
When I traveled to Canada, I went shopping the huge underground mall. There, I found a small boutique that sold some items from WLC. Once I saw them, I knew that I would have to buy them. Therefore, my guilt got the better of me and I was slowly convinced into buying two pairs (one being neon pink, and the other being neon green/blue). Although this style is no longer sold online, their great quality and texture hasn’t changed.   I absolutely love this site, so check it out!
xoxo,
Danielle (:

Knee Socks!

 - by Sami

Okay, today it is frigid, frigid cold in Connecticut. It is currently 22º F and very windy… even my Dad, who at least tries to run daily, made it to the bottom of the street and turned around and came back up. And I have to brave walking across the UConn Storrs campus! How will I stay warm and fuzzy? Knee socks! {Along with a scarf, hat, gloves, winter coat and the rest of my clothing, of course…}

For the past two/three years, my dad’s girlfriend Santa has filled my stocking with socks {mostly knee-length} for Christmas/Yule. I love love love love love socks! And every year, they keep getting funkier, sillier, and longer. If Santa doesn’t leave you with a stocking full of socks, you can find funky socks almost anywhere for cheap. My favorite places to get them are Target, Marshalls, and Claire’s.

Here are a few of my faves so far:
