Lots of outfit posts this month! I just have so many cute dresses and skirts to share with you. :)

This retro rockabilly polka dot dress might look familiar because it was in my Skirt Season post last week, where I shared my essential tools for smooth legs all summer. (I love this photo – it looks like I’m about to take flight!)

It’s also a celebrity! This dress was featured in a video I helped create at Timex for our new line of reversible polka dot Weekender watches. Turns out the dress fit me like a glove, so I got to take it home — perks of being the stylist! Check out the video:

So fun!!! I loved working on this, from concept to storyboard to shopping for and styling all of the outfits, to being on set and helping direct… it was such an amazing learning experience for me. I love being an Art Director!

I can’t get over how perfectly it fits! And it’s very light, so it’ll be great for hot summer days and backyard barbecues at my Dad’s. It goes great with the polka dot sunnies I also swiped from our video ;)

Outfit: The Perfect Patchwork Dress

Yes, yes, it is definitely skirt season, and I have lots of pretty new dresses to share with you! This pretty patchwork number came from Vintanthromodern Vintage, part of The Haven Collective.

I never gave vintage much thought until stepping into Vintanthromodern Vintage last spring. Then, it was still a pop-up shop and retrofitted fashion shuttle bus. Now, it’s found a more permanent home within The Haven Collective at 938 State Street in New Haven. I’ve always loved the concept of buying upcycled/recycled clothing, but I never seemed to look right in vintage. Or maybe the shops I’d been to just didn’t have the right flair. The Haven Collective’s owner Melissa, however, keeps her shop stocked with fabulously fun vintage and vintage-inspired pieces, like this dress (originally from Anthropologie) and my adorable balloon skirt. Definitely swing by if you’re looking for a great vintage shop!

I wanted the pastels and red flowers to stand out a bit more, so I’m wearing them with my red peep toe wedges and a few dainty bracelets in complementing colors:

That ID bracelet was a gift from my Aunt Kathy (who totally spoils me, and apparently thinks I might forget my name ;)

Outfit: The May Flowers Dress + Giveaway!

Win 50 to Pink Basis via @poorandpretty feature

Outfit - May Flowers Dress and daffodils at Hubbard Park via @poorandpretty

Fo me, what marks the arrival of Spring more than anything else in Connecticut are the daffodils at Hubbard Park in Meriden. I didn’t make it to the Daffodil Festival this year, but Mish and I went for a walk in Hubbard Park on Saturday — the view of over 600,000 daffodils throughout the park is simply magical.

It was the perfect opportunity to show off my new dress — I’ve dubbed it my “May Flowers Dress” — from Pink Basis. And they’re so sweet, they’re giving away a $50 gift card to one lucky Poor & Pretty reader!
