Get your fun on with a Poor & Pretty home party!

Stay in with the gals, pop open some champagne, serve up some hors d’oeuvres, and stock your bathroom with Bath Sweets & Body Treats by Poor & Pretty. I currently have two party packages. {Interested in ordering them for your wedding? Download this handy customization sheet to get you started!}

1. Girls’ Night In with Poor & Pretty

The Girls’ Night In party is full of games! In the style of many home demonstration parties, I’ll chat for a little bit about the Poor & Pretty Bath Sweets & Body Treats lineup, and then we’ll play a few fun party games so that guests can win free products! There is no charge for these parties. All I ask is that the hostess serves beverages and hors d’oeuvres.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a home party without free stuff for the hostess! Every hostess will receive a free basket of Poor & Pretty goodies: 1 cupcake soap, 1 box of bath truffles, and 1 Coco Balm. Depending on the amount of sales, the hostess will also receive the following as gifts:

  • $100 in sales: Jar of Frosting
  • $250 in sales: Jar of Frosting + 30% off your entire order

2. The Poor & Pretty DIY Party

In the true spirit of poor and pretty {and crafty} ladies who’ve come before us, this party celebrates being beautiful on a budget and focuses on easy recipes for at-home spa treatments. The hostess chooses one DIY recipe from the bulleted list below, and I’ll lead the party in a tutorial. Each guest will go home with their creation. We’ll also play a game for free Poor & Pretty goodies!

For DIY parties, I charge $10 per guest to cover the cost of materials. The hostess {who does not have to pay} will receive 10% of this money as a credit towards a purchase of Bath Sweets & Body Treats. {For example, if 10 guests attend, they pay $10 for a total of $100. 10% of that $100 is $10, so the hostess receives $10 off of a purchase from Poor & Pretty.} If the hostess buys all of the supplies needed, the $10 charge per guest is waived {and so is the 10% credit}.

Choose from these DIY recipes:

  • All-Natural Sugar Scrub {supplies: cane sugar, carrier oil, containers}
  • Bath Salt Soak {supplies: epsom salt, Dead Sea salt, dried roses and/or dried lavender, containers}
  • Lip Exfoliant {supplies: olive oil, brown sugar, honey}

Hostesses of DIY parties also qualify for the free Poor & Pretty goodies outlined in the Girls’ Night In package.
