Mish started Poor & Pretty with Sami in December 2009, but had to give it up due to work responsibilities and not enough free time. She is a hair styling, fashion obsessed, makeup junkie. She graduated school for cosmetology in Fall 2008 and currently works as a Stylist in a salon in CT.  She also freelances as a Makeup Artist for MAC Cosmetics and for herself, doing weddings, photo shoots, etc.  She loves everything fashion. Read Mish’s posts here.

Stan is Sami’s boyfriend who knows almost everything there is to know about computers. Together with Sami, Stan is on a mission to live as frugally as possible. He wrote a smart post on how to cut your grocery bill in half and provided a delicious recipe for all-natural, homemade strawberry lemonade.

Danielle is Stan’s sister. She is a talented piano player and ice skater who loves fashion and cosmetics, and has a great wardrobe. She shared her love for the hosiery website We Love Colors.

Suzi is Sami’s sister. She makes some of the coolest cakes and cupcakes for her daughter’s birthdays and other occasions. She wrote about running a DIY cupcake event for her daughter’s school.

Marcus is Sami & Stan’s friend from Michigan who, like Sami, loves to make his own cosmetics and jewelry. He works as a chef at a local market and it’s a good thing, too, because he’s a great cook. He gave us a yummy recipe for homemade sweet and sour stir-fry.

Jeff is Sami & Stan’s friend from their days at Apple, who also possesses a wealth of knowledge about computers. He’s also a talented musician and, in his spare time, likes to crochet. He showed off some of his cool crocheted clothing/accessories here.
