Poor & Pretty started as a blog in December 2009 and is written by Sami Jo Jensen. As a part-time employed college student living in Connecticut, I balance living frugally with being crafty and finding interesting things to do in New England. My favorite topics are DIY / tutorials {especially on making beauty products or hair accessories} cupcakes, and my offbeat fashion sense.

Poor & Pretty now has a shop, where I sell sweets-themed and vegan bath & body products, such as cupcake soaps, bath bombs, lip balm, and more.
