Yes, I’m still working on Being Organized, and possibly the most useful tool in my organizational arsenal is the shoebox. I never throw away a shoebox; they’re small enough to fit almost everywhere — under the bed, the top shelf of the closet, stacked in a bookcase, etc.
They may not be the prettiest way to organize, but you could make them slightly nicer looking by using colorful Post-it® notes as labels. Here’s how I used them in my bathroom closet:
