Halloween is just around the corner — are you ready? I must admit, I am not. Stan & I have plans to go to the CT Renaissance Faire’s Halloween Knights with a few friends, but I’m not sure how I want to dress up. I’ve done the witch and faerie thing too many times, but I also don’t want to spend a lot on a costume. Decisions, decisions! In any case, since last year’s Halloween DIY Round-up was a big hit, here’s another one for ya!

1. The “Trick {Not a Treat!} Coffin Box” via Dollar Store Crafts. This will run you around $10 or less if you don’t have the supplies on hand, but it’s super easy to make and a fun little prank for kids or adults.
2. Critter {Ice} Cubes by Emma of A Beautiful Mess. How unique and fun is this?! All you need are green olives and rosemary.
3. Staircase Silhouette via Martha Stewart. This might be a little more complex, but I think the effect is really cool, especially if you have guests over.
4. Funky Ombre Pumpkins from Funkytime. These are the coolest damn pumpkins I have ever seen. Your Halloween decor doesn’t have to be dark and dreary, why not make them pop?
…And if you’ve got an itch to stitch:

5. Halloween Cross Stitch Canvas via Decor Hacks. Even if you have zero sewing skills, you can make these cross stitch canvases. They’re very easy to make and a good idea for kids’ parties.
6. Cross Stitch on a Fake Pumpkin by Elsie Marley. This is a neat idea for a pumpkin decoration you can use year after year.
7. Halloween Amigurumi Ornaments via Kollabora. I seriously almost screamed because these are so cute! I wish I could crochet.
8. Halloween Printable Cutlery Pouches via Today’s Creative Blog. I can’t say that I’ve ever had an occasion to use cutlery pouches, but these are too cute not to use. You can stitch up the sides as shown in the photo, or you can staple them if you’re not confident in your sewing abilities.
